September Cakes

Hello Everyone! September was an extremely busy month for me! I pretty much had a wedding ( or two) everyone weekend this month. Alot of cupcakes (over 350!) Here are some pictures of cakes that I've done this month.

Hello everyone! I wanted to share some pictures of a recent babyshower I attended. Not only was it my best friend since 6th grade ( 16 years!)  and the first person in our little group of friends to have a baby, but it's also my Godson as well. We will be welcome little Jrue Tyler Morant sometime in October, and what a spoiled baby he will be!

Princess Cake

This is year 3 that I have made a cake for Miss Kamryn. Every year she has a different theme. Year 1 was Ballons,Year 2 was Minnie Mouse, and now Year 3 is Princess theme. Its great to have repeat customers that think about you and your business every year and wanting to include you in their most precious and happiest moments.

Hello everyone!   So it's been a long time since I've blogged last..I know, bad blogger. I've had alot of life changing moments in my life that last couple of months. Thanks to First Chair Solutions, Terrance and his team created a one of a kind website that I could only have dreamed of. I was going to just use a tired ol template website like everyone else, and I'm sure glad I didn't, because Brown Sugar Custom Cakes is not like everyone else! Now you can view my cake, dessert, and cupcake menu and prices, see my gallery of cake design. Any questions that you may have, they could be answered after reading my FAQ section. Of course I have a link to my blog, which gives me the opportunity to share recent cake pictures, my favorite website and products,  and personal reflections.

I did not know how addicting pinterest was until I started earlier this week! Not only can I pin my favorite cake pictures, I also can pin beautiful weddings, special events, and fashion ( Shopping is second to cake decorating for me!)

Leah's Totally 80's Sweet 16

Hello Everyone! I dont know about you, but I love birthday parties. They are the one of my favorite celebrations, after weddings of course. And when it's  your 16th birthday, that makes it even more awesome! Here are some pictures from my niece's Sweet 16th birthday party. Port Royal Country Club

Hello everyone! It's been a long time since I last blogged, but here is a couple pictures of a recent wedding that took place at Port Royal Country Club in March.

The bride's colors were blue and hot pink, so I incorporated hot pink hydrangea in a spirl pattern down the cake

Hello Everyone!  I know it's been some time since I"ve last blogged ( I'm being a bad blogger), but now wedding season is upon us, so you know what that means.....Nice spring weather and New Cakes!
The couple, Joy and Scott, were married at the Log Cabin on the Marine Corp Air Station in Beaufort.
